and out?
Sport breed like German Shepherd or Border collie,
which large owners consider these breed are happier
in outdoor kennel, must be able to retreat to a proper
outdoor kennel, shed or some other shelter that is
dry, clean and draught free.

Some dogs enjoy the sound of music. Leaving a radio
on during the day can be very calming while an owner
is absent.
Puppy playpens
Indoor kennel or dog crate can help to give your puppy
or dog a feeling of security, and also has the advantage
of being portable so it can be taken in travel with
you any where. It can be useful for a young puppy
that needs constant supervision.
Accustom your puppy to his 'crate' early on, but don't
leave him in it for hours on end. Your puppy or adult
dog may be quite happy sleeping in the crate overnight,
provided he has access to water and can lie on a comfortable
bed, newspapers.

The
outdoor life
Some working dogs, especially which has thick coats
such as the Newfoundland and Bernese mountain dog,
are quite happy to living in an outdoor kennel. Indeed,
some of them will find it uncomfortable to be indoors,
as the temperature of a centrally heated house makes
it difficult for them to settle.
If your dog lives outside, you will need to provide
him draught-free shelter and comfortable bed.
Hot in car
Avoid leaving your dog long time in a car. Although
you may have taken care to park in a sheltered spot,
the sun can move around car and may be become an oven,
with temperatures so high that the dog suffers heatstroke
or dehydration
Working owners
Some owners like working owner find it convenient
to leave their dogs in an outdoor kennel and run during
the day while they are at work. If you are planning
to put your dog in outdoor kennel then do the first
thing, put water and his toys and make at interesting
place to be. Give him toys, hide treats for him to
search for during the day, and provide a safe climbing
area to encourage him to exercise.
If possible, if you can return in lunch time to spend
some time with your dog. And if you know you are going
to be late home, make arrangements with a neighbors
and friend who will be happy to play with your dog.
